I Am Jackson Saini.
I’m a digital designer, specializing in branding, motion graphics, graphic design and videography!
I'm currently based in Vancouver, B.C., I grew up in Kelowna, not too far from where I am located now. After spending a year at Okanagan College pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, I decided to follow my passion for creative work. I’m now studying for a Digital Design and Development Diploma at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
With a keen eye for detail, I excel in crafting designs that are both visually compelling and highly functional. My strong communication skills allow me to clearly voice ideas and collaborate efficiently with team members, ensuring that every project aligns with the goal of the team. I thrive in team environments, where my versatility enable me to take on various roles and contribute to different aspects of the project
Outside of Design.
Before starting my design journey, I was very involved with football, helping lead my high school football team to two provincial championships! While playing, I learnt many important life lessons and was taught many transferrable skills from my amazing coaches. Football is heavily reliant on your team, and this forced everyone on the team to support one another, lifting each other up and carrying extra weight when teammates were struggling.
In addition to learning to embrace feedback and becoming a highly coachable individual, my coaches instilled a strong sense of resilience, teaching us to fight until the very end.
I give lots of thanks to all of my coaches over the years, as they have shaped me into the person I am today.
As well as playing football, I spent a good amount of time refereeing youth football leagues, maintaining a fair playing field as well as teaching the younger players about the game, and passing on the same skills that were taught to me at their age. It was a great experience to get on the field and grow my leadership skills further.
When I’m not designing, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, golfing, and travelling (sometimes all three if I get lucky). Family plays a large role in my life, and is the most important thing to me. Some of my top travel destinations would be Mexico, Hawaii, and in the future, I’d love the opportunity to visit Italy!
